The joy of metaphysics in relationship to Cat Sìth

As chance would have it every year in December, I listen to a discussion on the existence of angels. Last years discussion was particularly interesting. A protestant minister said, at the age of three, my mother told me that angels existed and they were always with us. I still believe this regardless of what anyone says.

And here we find the joy of metaphysic in its absolute essence. Angels, do they exist or do they not exist. If we say yes, then we can ask the next question, can they fly? If we ask the next question, well if they can fly, do they have wings? If we answer yes, then we must ask, what are the wings made of, feathers? And if we say yes, then we can ask, how large is the wingspan? 3 m.

You get the gist. So to summarise, angels can fly, their wings are made of feathers and the wingspan is 3m.

Let us apply the same logic to the cat sìth. There have recently been sightings of the beast of buchan which suggest, no confirms the existence of the cat sìth. How can we be sure the cat in Buchan, is not a Kellas cat. Kellas cats cannot change their form, Cat sìth can. Are there reliable witnesses, who have seen this metamorphis. Yes.

What is the best way to identify a cat sìth and not confuse it with a Kelles cat. Obviously the size, the Kellas cats are big, but the Cat Sìth are much bigger. It is a bit like asking how can I tell a golden eagle and a buzzard apart. When you have seen a golden eagle you will know the difference.

Do Cat Sìth pose a danger? No, they ignore humans.

Do Cat Sìth connive with the de'il. Here we are moving from fact to conjecture. Cat Sìth like numerous creatures in Alba, live on the threshold meaning they are aware of the physcial world but also of other realities which we cannot experience. It is claimed they steal the souls from corpses but it has never been explained what they intend to do with the corpses.

The de'eil has more effective means of gaining the souls of men. Those in the churches congregations with their prejudices and hypocrictical life styles are much easier prey and are unwittingly prepared to do the de'ils bidding.

It is said the Cat Sìth can be summoned through the cruel ritual of Taghairm, the burning of live cats on a spit over the course of four days. The Cat Sìth comes out of pity for its comrade and to put an end to its suffering and answers the questions the invoker asks. Normally these answers have to be collaborated by someone partaking in the ritual of the man in the hide.

If we look at how many supposed witches were burnt by God fearing people, the cruel use of fire is not necessarily exclusive to pagans. Can the Taghairm really be confirmed, as those who are doing the confirmation are literally using such cruel rituals to demonise cultures they do not understand in any manner which suits them.

It is my believe, the Taghairm is an invention of the church to discredit more formidable cultures of the past. When we see the destruction driven foremostly by greed done in the new continents over the last few centuries, especially the false rumours of the native's savagery which have all been prove untrue but have caused extreme damage.

The cruelty imposed upon cats especially black cats is unforgivable, the church needs to apologise to them.
