My continued obsession with Satan

As a school child, I had nightmares brought on by how the nuns would describe Satan, how hopeless our lifes are, how few of us will actually make it into heaven.

And then the heavy metalists embracing Satan, the antichrist without really understanding the implications or cost of follow such a potent master. Their symbols, sacrifices and believes contra to the teachings of the church.

It took me a long time to free myself from that closed circle of belief. The church and satanism are one and the same, they both feed off one another. Does holding a crucifix upside really mean everything or sacrifice, the church with their obsession with virgins are no different to the Satanist sacrificing virgins. The definition of the satanist's satan is ultimately being defined by the church.

As I wrote in the last thread, when did the devil set foot on scottish soil, with the arrival of the christians. The church is all about creating opposites, divide and rule.

Up until now I have never mentioned the great stone hanging around the churchs neck. Child abuse and the churchs unwillingness to hand over the culprits to secular justice. It is said one in twenty priest have inflicted abuse upon children. Individuals who purport to hold the highest moral standards, paragons for their clergy, teachers of an absolute morality abusing the trust placed in them against the most vulnerable, weak and unprotected.

The church has an interesting way of dealing with these parasites. They are hidden away, allowed to pray for forgiveness for their misdoings and better still, those who protect them can bathe in the glory and vanity of forgiving their colleagues. Sure one can forgive, but these individuals need to be be punished for their crimes, not to do so is to pour scorn upon the victims.

And then those that looked away, that knew and did nothing. They hide behind their belives and concscience blocking the pure hypocrisy of their behaviour and beliefs.

How many individuals lifes have been destroyed by the church, a church not interested in following what Jesus preached in the Sermon on the mount. Rather a church that is a personification of the Satan, it created itself. One can only hope that their is a hell where they wil burn.
